Global Ballooning Australia are offering a unique flight for one lucky Dad- just in time for Fathers’ Day! The winning dad will experience ‘A day in the life of a balloon pilot’. He will enjoy a balloon flight during sunrise as a passenger, whilst learning about what it takes to become a certified pilot. From learning about weather conditions to communication with the ground crew, this experience shows “behind the scenes” of a pilot’s life flying balloons.

The winning Dad will receive:
Free 1 hour sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Yarra Valley for 1 lucky dad.

One-on- one ‘behind the scenes’ communication with a certified pilot. This stage is provided to the winning Dad as a way of sharing information on how hot air ballooning works, the operational requirements involved, such as weather, nd the process followed in preparation for flying passengers.
This is an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with a trained balloon pilot. Your Dad will see for himself, actions taken and decisions made as a VIP ‘behind the scenes’ passenger.
