Important Information

If your balloon flight is cancelled the Yarra Valley add on experience can still be honoured on the day. Additional charges for return city transfers apply. Additional costings shall be discussed with the client prior to daily experience confirmation.

Sample Morning Itinerary (during summer)
Balloon flight timings are subject to change the night before by 6pm. Please check our mobile app for the updated schedule. We meet approximately 1.5 hours before sunrise, which varies throughout the seasons.

Transfers & Meeting Points

● 4:00–4:30am – Transfers depart from Pullman Melbourne on the Park
● 4:30–5:00am – Meet at Balgownie Estate if self-driving

Balloon Flight & Post-Flight

● 7:30–8:00am – Return to Balgownie Estate after your flight
● 7:30–9:00am – Enjoy breakfast / depart at your leisure if breakfast is not included
● 8:30–9:00am – Depart at your leisure or pre-book an optional transfer.

Healesville Sanctuary Package

● 9:30am – Visit Healesville Sanctuary
● Healesville Sanctuary Admission including: 2.5 hours of free time to explore.
o Wildlife Viewing: See over 200 species of Australian animals, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, dingoes, and platypuses.
o Spirits of the Sky Show: Experience a demonstration featuring majestic birds of prey.
o Indigenous Cultural Experiences: Engage with the Murrundindi cultural talks to learn about the land and local stories.
o Bushland Setting: Explore the sanctuary’s natural environment in the Yarra Valley.

● 12:00pm Meet tour guide at Healesville Sanctuary Pickup point
● 12:30pm – Lunch options:

● On-site Café available on-site, Guests able to purchase items at their own cost. If choosing this option, guests have an additional 1.5 hours to explore the sanctuary.

● Lunch at a Winery: 1 Course with Glass of Wine $55pp* (1.5h duration, transfer included).

● 2:00pm – Return to Melbourne CBD
● 3:00pm – Tour Concludes

Winter Tip: If booking in winter, consider an afternoon Yarra Valley excursion, as the balloon flight may finish later.

● Valid for public flights only.
● This is a non-refundable booking – if your flight is cancelled due to weather, you’re wine tour package will still PROCEED on your booked date. You can rebook your flight/breakfast package for an alternative date within 12 months using our rebook link provided at the time of cancellation.
● Once your wine tour excursion is paid and confirmed, there are no cancellations, changes or refunds permitted. Your balloon flight can be moved to another date without any fees prior to 7 days before the confirmed date.
● If you fail to arrive, you will forfeit your booking and no rebooking or refunds will be allowed.
*Prices based on number of people at time of booking, prices subject to change.

Weather

If your balloon flight is cancelled due to inclement weather, your Puffing Billy ticket will be PROCEED as scheduled on the booked date. Your flight & breakfast package is rebookable within 12 months in the event of weather cancellation.
