At the whim of the winds, we may fly over the CBD or drift across the inner suburbs, parks and gardens to discover why Victoria is known as the Garden State. Your morning journey lasts for approximately one hour, the memories last a lifetime.

If the flight is cancelled...
If the balloon flight is cancelled, your Melbourne star flight will still proceed regardless of weather conditions. Your confirmation will state the meeting place and time required as well as parking facilities. You can re-book your flight package for an alternative date by contacting Global Ballooning Australia.You have 12 months to re-book from your first cancelled flight only.

Melbourne Star is located on Waterfront Way in Docklands, within the renowned Harbour Town Shopping Centre.
Where is the closest car park?
Parking is available within walking distance of Melbourne Star. Access is from Footscray Road with car parks located on Waterfront Way and Pearl River Road. Parking is available from $10 per day.
Are photo’s taken during the ride?
Following your flight you will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive selection of images highlighting your personal Melbourne Star experience. Additional copies can be purchased online.
Are there toilets onboard?
Toilets are available within the Star Piazza and on the Star Deck – please look for directional signage, also available in Braille, or request assistance from our Guest Relations Team. Electronic door access is available for those with mobility restrictions. There are no amenities located within the cabins.
Is there seating in the cabins?
Melbourne Star’s cabins are designed to allow guests to easily move around the cabin during their experience. Each cabin provides a central bench seat for the comfort of our guests.
