Global Ballooning Australia has officially launched its newest FightMND Big Freeze beanie hot air balloon, introducing a powerful new symbol into the skies over Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Developed in partnership with FightMND, the iconic balloon transforms the organisation’s signature Big Freeze beanie into a highly visible, airborne platform for awareness, conversation, and community impact. Flying at sunrise, the balloon extends the reach of the Big Freeze campaign beyond traditional sporting stages – placing the FightMND message directly into everyday skies.
More than a new addition to the fleet, the balloon represents a purpose-driven collaboration built on shared values of altruism, visibility, and action – using aviation to help drive understanding, funding, and momentum toward a future free from motor neurone disease.
