Balloon flight timings are subject to change the night before by 6pm. Please check our mobile app for the updated schedule. We meet approximately 1.5 hours before sunrise, which varies throughout the seasons.
Transfers & Meeting Points
Balloon Flight & Post-Flight

7:30–8:00am – Return to Balgownie Estate after your flight

7:30–9:00am – Enjoy breakfast / depart at your leisure if breakfast is not included

8:30–9:00am – Depart at your leisure or pre-book an optional transfer to Ringwood Station (you will need to make your own way to Belgrave Station for your 11am Puffing Billy excursion)

Puffing Billy Excursion

11:00am – Puffing Billy departs (please arrive early)

11:55am – Arrive Lakeside Station

2:15pm – Depart Lakeside Station

3:10pm – Arrive back at Belgrave Station
Winter Tip: If booking in winter, consider an afternoon Puffing Billy excursion, as the balloon flight may finish later. Timings for later excursions can be found in the timetable link above.
